With advanced functions including high-speed sync, a built-in 2.4 GHz radio system, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery capable of 500 full power flashes, the compact V350C Flash from Godox is a valuable asset for Canon camera users. With a lightweight design and guide number of 118' at ISO 100 and 105mm, the V350C is useful for both on-camera and off-camera operation. Users can also use it as an optical slave in addition to use as a radio TTL master/slave unit. It is versatile as well, with the ability to tilt from -7 to 90° and rotate 270°. Multiple functions and features built into the unit, includes HSS, stroboscopic flash, 1st and 2nd curtain sync, and a fast recycle time of 0.1 to 1.7 seconds. - Removable, rechargeable battery delivers up to 500 full power flashes on a full charge, while recycling at a fast 0.1 to 1.7 sec.
- XProS Wireless Radio System
- An integrated 2.4 GHz XProS radio system is incorporated for wireless triggering with a separately purchased transmitter with a range of 164'. The system supports all of the flash's major functions.
- Ample Power
- With a guide number of 118' at ISO 100 and 105mm, the V350S will provide ample illumination for most subjects. It also features a zoom head with a range of 24-105mm and a 14mm wide-angle panel for using a variety of different lenses.
- Flexible Design
- The flash head can be tilted from -7 to 90° and rotated a total of 270° for controlling bounce and where the light falls on the scene.

Powerful for the presenter

My boss's boss recently told me that our organization's presentations are boring data dumps that make her wish she was somewhere other than there listening but not really hearing or caring about this slide and dreading the next. She suggested that since I was going to be doing a lot of presentations in the future I should avoid that method and do better presentations. I immediately sought advice from our best presenter and learned that his method came from his gut feelings about what worked better. He has good instincts but to codify what he explained I decided to buy a book to learn why his approach works. The closest book with an effective explanation I could find is "beyond bullet points". It captured and expanded on the instinct my new mentor explained so that I could now understand how to use the slides to supplement the story and how to interweave the data so the whole presentation is more meaningful and memorable. I recommend this book to anyone looking for more of an answer on how to improve their presentations and eliminate the data dump in bullet points.

Great for Presentation Education
Format: Paperback
It has been some time since I have utilized Beyond Bullet Points, but this is one text book that kept with me. The point of the book is to help a presenter get their point across to the audience through Powerpoint presentations, and the book does this well. I am sure there are editions other than this one at this point, and I would definitely recommend looking into them in order to keep up to date. Starting with this book is a great idea due to its simplicity.

This book will make a difference in your presentation.
Format: Paperback
If you rely on Powerpoint-like presentation in your work, get Cliff Atkinson's Beyond Bullet Points. I had determined that improving my company's presentations had potentially very high returns so I started poking around the net and Amazon for resources to help. At first, I struck out with books that were supposed to improve presentations, but ended up being guides on technically how to use Powerpoint. That was NOT what I was looking for.
Beyond Bullet Points is very different. It is a philosophy about creating presentations whose purpose is to communicate a story, not dump information. Frankly, it was not intuitive for me so I had to decide to just trust that it would work. When I was about ¾ finished, I started to really "feel" what I was doing. And, to my surprise, the most unlikely people really liked the result.
In a world where most business and how-to books are nothing more that restating what you already know (or, what you know isn't true), this one is an exception. I highly recommend it!
